Object Oriented Flash MX 2004

Object Oriented Macromedia Flash MXI’m very pleased to announce that I’m working on the update of William Drol’s great Flash OOP book “Object Oriented Macromedia Flash MX” to be published by Apress/Friends of ED.

I can’t get into details on what topics it will cover but we’ve got some very cool material lined up to say the least! This book promises to be at least as big a success as the previous release was and I’m committed to doing Bill’s work justice.

Stay tuned for more information on this project in the next couple of months! ;)

Really liked William’s book. Unfortunately it did not get the massive attention other Flash OOP books got. If you need one more reviewer, don;t hesitate.

This was an fantastic book for me, and it not only teaches me Flash MX OOP. It let me know Bill as the great person he is and as friend.

I can’t wait for the next release of this Book!

    Best, C.

We are developing a rich internet application with actionscript2.0 and flash remoting (openAMF). We have a strong OO background, and are really looking forward to comparing notes with you.

In fact, I have this book on order with Amazon and am waiting eagerly…. Any chance of a review copy in the meantime? Are you needing any experienced OO reviewers?
