Flex 2 Rich Internet Applications

I’ve just gotten my hands on the TotalTraining DVD “Flex 2 Rich Internet Applications” presented by James Talbot and its an absolutely wonderful training resource.

First heard about this title during the Adobe Community Summit this summer at the Adobe HQ in San Jose when we had a two-day crash course on Flex 2 by the man himself.

Flex Builder 2 on Mac

It seems Flex Builder 2 for Mac is moving along nicely, Duane Nickull posted a little sneak peek showing us what it looks like now.

Hello World, I’m Mac

MacBook Pro

It took me a little while to bite the bullet but Apple coming out with a MacBook Pro on an Intel Core Duo processor finally convinced me to switch.

Lovin’ it so far, the only painful bit will be buying a Windows XP Pro license this afternoon to run it inside Parallels. Until universal binaries come out for software I use on a daily basis I’ll be switching between Mac OS X and Win XP at the click of a button.

Flex Builder 2 – Ant support

If you’re running Flex Builder 2 as a standalone application you might have noticed, as Mike Britton did, that it does not have Ant support out of the box.
