Photoshop CS3 for everyone

March 8th, 2007

Interesting news on the Adobe Photoshop CS3 front — for the first time Adobe will be offering two versions of the product — Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop CS3 Extended. The extended version includes all the features you find in the regular Photoshop CS3 plus 3D, motion graphics, image measurement and analysis aimed at professionals in the architecture, engineering and medical industries.

Great news in my opinion, the ability to use these advanced features right from within Photoshop will improve the workflow for thousands.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I like the sound of this :
“Animators can now render and incorporate rich 3-D content into their 2-D compositions. Graphic and web designers can create an animation from a series of images - such as time series data - and export it to a wide variety of formats, including QuickTime, MPEG-4 and Adobe Flash® Video.”
