I've went the break route a few times now and not only is it really nice, I think it gives you way better perspective when you get back. As for techno withdrawal, I was totally expecting it (not even email access for 2 months+), but it was zero. I was shocked at how little I missed the internet and computers, and how fun life was without. Best of all, it was good to get back as well, I felt totally rejuvenated. I guess people are the opposite of cell phones -- you have to unplug them to recharge : ). Good call Peter.
