Flex Builder 2 - free of charge for students
24 10 2007Starting early November Flex Builder 2 will be offered free of charge to students and faculty members. While they could technically already use the free SDK and the command line compiler with their favorite code editor, it makes perfect sense to make their prospective customer base familiar with the IDE of choice for Flex development and get them involved in shaping the future of the software.
In the last few years I’ve gotten to know some really exceptional local Flash and Flex talent here in Belgium and I’m very pleased to hear that getting hold of Flex Builder won’t be a barrier for these students. Good move Adobe!
