Interview – Aral Balkan on Singularity

Aral got interviewed on Singularity while attending the LIFT08 conference in Geneva last week. Its great to see such excitement around the project and it gets you to appreciate the potential of an online conference of this caliber.

Of course it was also nice to hear a plug for our very own Multi-Mania, one of Europe’s biggest free multimedia events, right here in Belgium — which you’ll no doubt hear lots more about in the coming weeks!

    Hey Peter,

It is very exciting, indeed! Everyone I spoke to at LIFT, and all of the Internet feedback has been so overwhelmingly encouraging. I was excited before, now I’m super-psyched :) And, I’ve got some very cool post-LIFT news that I can’t wait to share with you guys about ongoing developments in the conference.

I can’t wait to spend every day in the next eight months working to make Singularity an event that we will all be talking about for years to come :)

Thank you for being a part of it and for supporting it from the very earliest days.

I’m also very excited by Singularity – a so good idea Aral ! I will try to invest myself more in the Flex community :-) We should talk Peter to see how i could contribute/help to setup “Singularity” in Belgium (sponsors, venue,…).

    Take care.
